The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Ex two-time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of those words, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the novice remains one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really proceeding.
